BJP New Delhi District to Organise Grand Bike Tiranga Yatra on August 9

New Delhi, August 8, 2026:
On the occasion of Independence Day 2026, the Bharatiya Janata Party, New Delhi District will organise a Grand Bike Tiranga Yatra on Sunday, August 9, 2026, to celebrate the spirit of patriotism, national unity and pride.

The Tiranga Yatra will commence at 9:30 AM from Samrat Mihir Bhoj Gurjar Chowk, Pilanji Village, near Thyagaraj Stadium, and will proceed through Kotla Bazaar and Amar Colony Market, culminating at Radha Krishna Mandir, Greater Kailash.

The programme will be graced by Smt. Bansuri Swaraj, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, New Delhi Lok Sabha, as the Chief Guest.

The event will also witness the presence of distinguished public representatives, including:

  • Shri Parvesh Sahib Singh, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister, Government of Delhi
  • Shri Satish Upadhyay, Hon’ble Vice Chairman, Delhi Jal Board & MLA, Malviya Nagar Assembly
  • Shri Anil Kumar Sharma, Hon’ble MLA, R.K. Puram Assembly
  • Smt. Shikha Rai, Hon’ble MLA, Greater Kailash Assembly
  • Shri Neeraj Basoya, Hon’ble MLA, Kasturba Nagar Assembly

Hon’ble Councillors and a large number of BJP workers and supporters will also participate in the Yatra.

The Bike Tiranga Yatra aims to spread the message of patriotism and national unity while encouraging citizens, particularly youth and party workers, to actively participate in the celebrations of Independence Day.

BJP New Delhi District President Shri Ravindr Choudhary has appealed to all party workers and citizens to participate in large numbers, adorn their bikes with the National Flag, and join the Yatra on time to make this patriotic celebration a grand success.
