Partnership strengthens ophthalmology services and expands access to precision eye diagnostics in a leading public healthcare institution.
NEW DELHI, Aug. 4, 2026 Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjung Hospital (VMMC & SJH) today formally received two ANTERION Multi-Modal Imaging Platforms Optimized for the Anterior Segment from the Central Registry of Securitisation Asset Reconstruction and Security Interest of India (CERSAI) under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The advanced imaging systems were handed over to the Department of Ophthalmology during an inauguration ceremony held at the hospital.
The contribution forms part of CERSAI’s CSR initiative to strengthen public healthcare infrastructure. The ANTERION systems provide high-resolution imaging and comprehensive assessment of the anterior segment of the eye, supporting the diagnosis and management of cataracts, corneal disorders and glaucoma while improving clinical decision-making and treatment planning.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the CERSAI CSR team, Dr. Kavita Rani Sharma, Director, VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital; Dr. Charu Bamba, Medical Superintendent and Chairperson, CSR Committee; Dr. Sangeeta Abrol, Head of the Department of Ophthalmology; members of the CSR Committees of VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital; faculty members from the Department of Ophthalmology; senior hospital officials; and invited guests.
