On the occasion of the birthday of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, a campaign “Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar” was launched. The program was held as part of Seva Pakhwada and included several activities promoting health, nutrition, and community service. The #Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan was inaugurated with great enthusiasm, reaffirming the commitment to women’s health and family wellness. The camp featured a wide array of services including screening for non-communicable diseases (NCDs), ANC checkups, TB Screening etc.
A blood donation camp was organized where participants enthusiastically came forward to donate blood. Along with this, a pledge for blood donation was also taken to encourage regular voluntary donations.
Yoga sessions were conducted to promote physical and mental well-being. Counselling sessions on mental health and overall wellness were also arranged for patients and attendees.
One of the important activities of the day was ABHA registration, where a large number of participants registered themselves for digital health IDs. A total of 5,226 women benefited from this holistic wellness initiative. The 8th Poshan Maah, was also launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narender Modi Ji. A key highlight was the distribution of nutrient-rich millets by the dedicated members of the Inner Wheel Club Mid Town, to promote healthy dietary practices and nutritional security.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Dr. Sandeep Bansal, Director, who emphasized the importance of such inclusive health programs. He was joined by Dr. Charu Bamba, Medical Superintendent, Principal, Dr. Geetika Khanna, & Dr. R. P. Arora, AMS, Nodal Officer, whose presence added to the significance of the event. A touching and symbolic moment came when a little girl lit the traditional lamp, representing hope, health, and empowerment for the younger generation.Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Bansal stated, “This campaign reflects our commitment to addressing women’s health in a holistic manner, reinforcing the belief that a healthy woman builds a strong and empowered family.”
Overall, the event was conducted successfully with active participation from doctors, staff, patients, and the general public. The program reflected the spirit of Seva hi Sankalp, Rashtra Pratham hi Prerna.
