A special cardiology camp dedicated to women above 40 years of age was inaugurated today at Safdarjung Hospital by Dr. Sandeep Bansal, Director, as part of the ongoing Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar
Abhiyaan. The camp offered free ECG and lipid profile screenings to promote heart disease prevention and early detection among women.The event was organized under the leadership of Dr. Isser (HOD, Cardiology). The occasion was graced by the presence of Dr Charu Bamba MS, Dr Geetika Khanna Principal & Dr. R.P. Arora AMS, reflecting the collective commitment of the hospital’s senior leadership to holistic women’s healthcare.Approximately 600 women participated in the camp and benefitted from the comprehensive screening services. A public awareness lecture was delivered by Dr. Punit Gupta (Cardiology), emphasizing the importance of heart health, regular screenings, and preventive lifestyle measures.This camp is one of several activities being held under the Abhiyaan, providing a range of health education and screening opportunities for holistic family wellness.
